About

Hartley Hightower is the pen name of an author of historical, contemporary, and adventure romance. A passionate reader and lifelong romantic, Hartley delights in making readers crush, swoon, rant and cuss, sometimes all at once. It is her fervent hope that, much like Julius in Angel Pirate, her readers just want something they can feel.

Hartley's debut duology is a historical adventure-romance set in the Age of Sail. Angel Pirate: Cannibal Camellia and Angel Pirate: Queen of Pirates are currently available.

Hartley's contemporary romance novel The Big Dark: A Seattle Romance is currently in search of representation. If that route doesn't manifest, it will be self-published.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Hartley now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two cats.

"A romance is a matter of grave importance, no matter how old the beholder. One must be dead inside to think otherwise."
